General update
Really please to see that Nikhil Rathi, Chief Executive at the FCA, is speaking at the StepChange Connected event in September 2024 that I am attending.
We covered the FOS annual report earlier in July. The build up to the FCA findings in September on discretionary commission are already having an impact and debt solution providers need to determine their position when dealing with consumers that may have been impacted.

Complaint metrics will be a key factor in Duty reports next week. FOS has a page around cost-of-living crisis complaints. This includes financial difficulties, unaffordable lending and frauds & scams. This page covers sources of debt advice.
