I distributed a bulletin last week on the latest Winter report from the Illegal Money Lending Team (IMLT). This remains incredibly relevant at this time of year with many households having budgets squeezed. If anybody missed it then please drop me an email. Apparently, average the house price hit a record high of £298,083 in November 2024. Halifax, the UK's largest mortgage lender, part of Lloyds Banking Group, said property values were up 1.3% compared with October - the fifth consecutive monthly rise. Nationwide was slightly more conservative.
