Financial Awareness Day on 14 August has come and gone. A number of providers ran campaigns on the day. Money Wellness believe financial education should start early in schools, so young people leave with the skills to manage money confidently. There are certain knowledge gaps their customers would like to see prioritised:
77% think budgeting lessons are vital
68% say guidance on credit and debt would be useful
62% feel savings advice should feature in the school curriculum
