The headlines were the interest rate drop to 4.75% on Thursday and Trump winning the US presidential election. There has been much speculation on what will happen in 2025 with Trump in power. How this impacts the UK, we will have to wait and see. Interesting post by Mick McAteer entitled ‘Will we see a regulatory race to the bottom as a result of the new US administration? If so, how will UK and EU civil society respond?’.
