According to UK Finance, Q3 saw a slight bounce back in consumer confidence.
I am not so convinced, especially when you pick up on some of the cost-of-living stories below. Consumer spending in Q3 presents a contradictory scenario, where retail sales values ascended while underlying sales volumes experienced a decline.
