My thanks to Peter for circulating his article on the StepChange IVA statistics (i.e. termination and completion rates) aligned to the government annual figures across the sector. In 2021, 81,199 IVAs were registered. This was the highest annual number in the time series going back to 1990. 16 firms accounted for more than 90% of new IVAs registered in 2021 and these are detailed in the government link below. IVAs accounted for 74% of all individual insolvencies, compared to 64% in 2019 and less than 50% before 2014.
