Empowering the Next Generation: Coding Academy for Kids

Hemant Patel discusses their coding initiative which now has expanded to five Manchester schools, targeting groups of 15 students, with a focus on those classified as “pupil premium” or disadvantaged.

This growth started from one school supported by a partnership with the University of Manchester, the ambition is to reach 20 schools next year. The overarching vision is to annually introduce Python programming to a thousand disadvantaged children across Greater Manchester.
