Financial Conduct Authority (FCA): The FCA had a busy start to 2025 with multiple announcements. It set out proposals to cut costs and barriers for companies raising capital, aiming to encourage more bond issuance in small sizes and widen investor access​. A joint FCA–Practitioner Panel survey for 2025 was launched to gather industry feedback. The FCA also responded to the Government’s call for regulators to support economic growth, highlighting ongoing work and further plans to foster innovation and competitiveness​.
